CVMA – The Working Mind Program

Both courses use trained facilitators, workshop manuals, contact-based videos that present actual employees and managers dealing with issues related to the program’s content, discussion exercises, and personal goal setting to begin to enact the coping skills within the program. This program addresses workplace mental health caused by inherent workplace stresses such as day-to-day workflow pressures, interpersonal relationships, and conflicts, and some unique to veterinary medicine like ethical and moral distress.

- Heart Failure: First-line and advanced treatment strategies for CHF in dogs and cats with updates on new therapies and referral timing.
- Congenital Heart Disease: How to recognize, diagnose, and manage congenital cardiac conditions.
- Cardiotoxins: A focused look at common toxins affecting the heart, including pathophysiology, clinical signs, diagnostics, and treatment plans.

MVTA 2025 Advanced Training Conference

The Manitoba Veterinary Technologists Association (MVTA) proudly presents its Advanced Training Conference, taking place at Red River College Polytechnic. Sessions focus on these key areas: dental radiology, ultrasound, emergency, large animal and nutrition. This specialized event is designed to elevate the clinical skills of RVTs through hands-on, practical sessions at an affordable cost. 2025 CanWest Veterinary Conference

SBCV 2025 Fall Conference and Trade Show

VMX—The Veterinary Meeting & Expo—is the world’s largest and most comprehensive veterinary conference, held annually in Orlando, Florida. Coordinated by the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), it delivers over 1,200–1,300 hours of continuing education, with hundreds of learning tracks, hands-on workshops, masterclasses, and sessions that span small and large animal care, exotics, conservation, geriatric medicine, and practice management.
