CVMA – The Working Mind Program
Courses Facilitated by Drs. Leann Benedetti or Marie Holowaychuk, DVMs.
Both courses use trained facilitators, workshop manuals, contact-based videos that present actual employees and managers dealing with issues related to the program’s content, discussion exercises, and personal goal setting to begin to enact the coping skills within the program.  This program addresses workplace mental health caused by inherent workplace stresses such as day-to-day workflow pressures, interpersonal relationships, and conflicts, and some unique to veterinary medicine like ethical and moral distress.

SBCV 2025 Fall Conference and Trade Show
November 7-9, 2025

This year’s conference will be held at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond, BC.

SBCV has a RVT focused session with Dr. James Sudhoff, BSc, DMV: Delegation of Care to Animal Health Technologists. This session will be Sunday November 9th, from 1:30pm-3:30pm.
For RVTs who wish to attend just this session, whether in person or remotely, there is a special Lunch and Learn Ticket available. For in-person attendees, this ticket includes lunch hosted by AVP, starting at 12:30pm.

WSU Fall Veterinary Continuing Education Event
November 8, 2025

This hybrid event hosted by Washington State University includes both a small animal or a large animal track. Both CE sessions running from 9:00am-12:00PM PST. Follow the registration link for more information regarding the session topics. This event is held both in person and online. 
RVT Registration fee is $20 USD and you will receive 3 CE credits for the event.

VMX 2026
January 17-21, 2026

VMX—The Veterinary Meeting & Expo—is the world’s largest and most comprehensive veterinary conference, held annually in Orlando, Florida. Coordinated by the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), it delivers over 1,200–1,300 hours of continuing education, with hundreds of learning tracks, hands-on workshops, masterclasses, and sessions that span small and large animal care, exotics, conservation, geriatric medicine, and practice management. VMX boasts fun interactive events, including behind the scenes tours of  animal medical facilities such as Disney World Animal Kingdom.

WVC Annual Conference – Las Vegas, NV
February 15-18, 2026

WVC Vegas 2026 is one of the largest and longest-running veterinary continuing education events, taking place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Over four days, attendees can access 900+ RACE-approved CE hours, including lectures, hands-on labs (60+), workshops, and “side‑quest” learning tracks across a wide range of veterinary specialties.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Las Vegas, the conference features a massive 500,000 sq. ft. Exhibit Hall with over 600 exhibitors, offering the latest innovations in veterinary medicine, plus keynote events, entertainment, and networking opportunities. The theme “Get Confident. Get Connected. Go All In.”  highlights the event’s focus on building skills, connections, and professional momentum.

Ontario Association of Veterinary Medicine 2026 Conference
February 26-28, 2026

The 2026 OAVT Conference will be held at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel in Richmond Hill, ON. 
Registration for the conference will open November 1, 2025.
